How We Are

Cross River State College of Nursing Sciences, Itigidi — quality education for quality service.

Who we are

About CONMSIT College

Cross River State College of Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, Itigidi (CONMSIT) began as a School of Nursing through the instrumentality of the Management Committee of Eja Memorial Joint Hospital, Itigidi — driven by the need for trained nursing personnel to work in the hospital.

From community voluntary labour in 1976 to full NMCN accreditation in 2018, and the transition to ND/HND Nursing under NBTE standards, CONMSIT has grown into a college committed to preparing competent, polyvalent nurse practitioners for healthcare delivery that meets globally accepted best practices.

“Quality education for quality service — training knowledgeable and skillful nurses to meet the health needs of clients in a pluralistic society.”
